
Venus is a curator and artist based between Hong Kong and the Netherlands. Her research explores the poetics and politics of everyday life, focusing on relational forms of resilience and collective experience.
Recent projects include the port-based research initiative Tiny Wave and the residency programme We Came from the Future at Buitenplaats Brienenoord in Rotterdam. In 2024, she participated in the Gwangju Biennale Academy International Curator Course in South Korea and later co-founded Gyemoim, a curatorial collective. She also curated Re-imagining Home VR Tour (2021) at the 18th Street Arts Center in Los Angeles.
In Hong Kong, she was awarded the Hong Kong Arts Centre’s Creators for Tomorrow 2024 grant. Two of her texts are archived in the Hong Kong Oral History Reference Resources of the Hong Kong Public Libraries.
