The research-film As Far as I Remember consists of an interview with Noh Daehyun, who has worked as a Taxi driver in Gwangju for 15 years and participated in the May 1980 democratic uprising. During our interview, we drove to various significant locations in the city of Gwangju, including the site and memories of the home he experienced during May 1980. Noh’s words, carefully placed between pockets of silence and the sounds of his GPS navigator, reveal the non-linearity of the complex relationship between space, memory, and history.
